Home of Love, NEST

Ever since the Korean War, there have been at least two hundred thousand Koreans who have been adopted overseas for various reasons.  At the time of the devastation after the war, overseas adoption might have been regarded as a blessing. Now numerous overseas Korean adoptees are visiting their homeland every day.

They all have different reasons for visiting their home country, but most of them ask one common question, "What country is Korea which has given up me?". Taking their first steps in Korean land, they are filled with many more questions like "Why did a wealthy country abandon me?" as well as pouring emotion in their minds. "My (biological) parents abandoned me for reasons that can not be said." Also, some of them go a bit further and try to settle down in Korea, but their lives on this land do not always treat them kindly.

Nest will be a tower of strength for them. Nest is a resting place for all overseas Korean adoptees who have left Korea unintentionally, and will become home for them supporting them as a friend, a brother, a sister and a family.

Overseas Korean adoptees! You are not alone. Nest exists with you. Nest will try best to support you as your fence of love.

Nest also runs various overseas aid projects for less fortunate neighbors of the third world countries. We hope this world will become a little brighter and more beautiful through these small gestures of ours.

I would like to express my gratitude to all the patrons of Nest who have shown love and support for Nest.

I wish you meaningful fruit for every work you do.
