NEWS & UPDATES
We would like to introduce a new association from Korea called "Doong Ji" (= Nest).
Doong Ji is an association of people who provide support to our brothers and sisters who were adopted abroad so they can visit their mother country Korea.
Doong Ji means "a nest" in Korean. We strive to provide a warm nest with love to those who visit Korea. What we share may be little, but we hope our little action could be a stepping stone to share comfort, encouragement, joy and hope with our friends, who were hurt and went through tough times. We, at Doong Ji are running the following projects to support those adopted abroad in time for their visits to Korea.
1. Free pick-ups from the airport
*PLEASE LET US KNOW AT LEAST 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE IF YOU WILL NEED THIS SERVICE IN ORDER FOR US TO FIND A VOLUNTEER. THIS SERVICE IS FOR FIRST TIME VISITORS ONLY*
2. To find a nice & comfortable Home Stay ( hm~ that's exactly what I need~ )
3. To find their biological parents/ birth-family ( but if you don't want to find them, we won't force or ask you )
4. To support and arrange activities while they are in Korea ( we'll always be there~ )
5. To teach Korean / to introduce Korean culture ( especially you won't want to miss Korean food~ )

(please don't hesitate to ask us~)
7. To make friends and family ( I promise~ the best Korean friends ever~ yea ! )
PREPARATION FOR KOREA
Living in Korea is not easy especially for Korean adoptees who can experience a culture shock.
Social manners to older people are highly valued in the Korean society and in general of course.
You should definitely consider "cultural difference" before you make the big step to immigrate for a while.
In the "Preparation for Korea Section", you will find a list of important things to take care of during your stay in Korea.
It will make your life here much more convenient.
Nest Korea provides a variety of services for adoptees.
We try to give them the help they need and help them in life.
With the help from volunteers, we offer services such as translation/interpretation work, F-4 visa support, and homestay for adoptees.
In addition to the support for the adoptees, Nest Korea provides excellent social activities for the adoptees to communicate with each other.
We also strive to provide post-visit services.
If you need any help after meeting your family, don't hesitate to contact us.
We will do our best to help you.
There is also a good chance for volunteering services for those interested.
Nest Korea makes an effort to offer the best service to every adoptee who visits Korea.
Programs optimized for Korean adoptees are provided and we strive for good results.
Through various programs in Nest Korea, hopefully the adoptees will get to have good experiences and develop cherished memories of Korea.
Most of the programs are provided free and some of them cost the minimum expense.
Every program is professionally structured and has been very successful.
Nest Korea will do our best for the adoptees during the programs.
